The method

The Visibility Loop: a system that remembers.

AI answers are unstable: in a 1,600-answer study, roughly half the firms named appeared in only one of three identical runs. That is exactly why movement is never judged on a single answer: we benchmark across the full 181-question set and read the trend month over month, so a lucky answer is not progress and an unlucky one is not a crisis. An audit is a document. A position has to be held. The Loop shows what AI says about you today, captures what you want to be known for, measures the distance, and closes it, then holds the position month over month.

Five steps

Show. Capture. Measure. Reveal. Direct.

DiagnoseDefineMeasureRevealDirect
1
Signal audit
Is AI getting your facts right?
A light audit run without firm input: phantom offices, retired attorneys still named, misattributed practice strength, identity confusion. Immediate, diagnostic, and deliberately partial.
Output: a short factual error report
2
The Mirror intake
What do you want to be known for?
Priority practices and attorneys, client personas, target matters, growth goals. Questions modeled on how your prospects actually ask, a GC vetting a referral, a CFO asking for citations, never a generic list.
Output: your stated position, on the record
3
Full audit
What does AI know, what does it think, and what will you own?
The complete diagnostic, run against your stated position at all three layers: the firm, each practice, each named lawyer. Competitors and cited sources analyzed by practice; the unclaimed terrain named.
Output: the measured gap, by practice and by attorney
4
Readout
Where does AI fall short of the reputation you earned?
Findings translated into a narrative your leadership can repeat: what AI gets wrong, where it trails your record, where authority is available to be built.
Output: one defensible articulation of the gap
5
Strategy and roadmap
What do we fix, what do we hold, and what do we go win?
A sequenced plan with owners. Benchmarks are frozen at delivery and measurement begins only after the changes are live, so the numbers describe your work, not the noise around it.
Output: a dated execution roadmap
Monthly: re-measure once the changes are live.Quarterly: re-Mirror the priorities against business goals.

Content → Build → Amplify → Monitor

Content
Answer-ready pages built to be cited, not just read.
Build
Structure and schema so every engine can read the firm, the practices, and each lawyer.
Amplify
Presence across the sources law trusts: Chambers, Best Lawyers, Legal 500, the legal press, LinkedIn.
Monitor
Monthly measurement against frozen benchmarks, across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google's AI Overviews.
Why fixes land in the right order

Chaos goes in. A ranked plan comes out.

Every audit surfaces dozens of possible fixes: a phantom office, a practice page no engine can read, a partner with no citable footprint. The Loop runs on a brain built only for legal: fifteen legal-specific principles, drawn from published research and our own live audits, rank every fix by expected impact, for your firm, on that engine, at that layer. And it learns from every audit we run.

Every audit adds to a growing record of how AI cites legal firms; each cycle starts from what the last one learned.

How a firm climbs

Fix the record. Get competitive. Own the space.

Own · The endgame
The practices and matters you intend to own, claimed before rivals reach them, and held.
Maintain · Never stops
Benchmarked against named peers, fixes verified, movement tracked monthly. Even owned ground keeps shifting.
Triage · The foundation
The obvious errors fixed first: phantom offices, retired partners, wrong practice claims. Quick, verifiable, pays for itself.
1Land at Triage. The wedge: low commitment, verifiable in thirty seconds. Draws on step 1.
2Grow into Maintain. The monthly retention engine. Draws on steps 3 and 4.
3Reach Own. The quarterly advisory seat, and the reason a firm still buys in year three. Draws on steps 2 and 5.

The endgame is Own. You cannot leapfrog the foundation, and even owned ground keeps shifting, which is why Maintain never ends.

Why the engagement continues.

Measurement begins only after the changes are live. That is what makes the next quarter worth buying.

Questions

Straight answers.

Why a loop and not an audit?
Because the answers move. In a 1,600-answer study, roughly half the firms named appeared in only one of three identical runs. A one-time audit is stale on delivery; a position has to be held.
What makes the questions different?
They are yours. The prompt set is built from your firm through the Mirror intake: the practices that drive your revenue, the matters you want more of, the buyers who hire you. A thousand generic queries can say you are fine while the one question your best client asks returns three rivals.
What if nothing moves?
Benchmarks are frozen on day one; movement is measured monthly against them. You will know either way, which is more than any alternative offers.

See where you stand. Own what you want to be known for.
